Think less "hired photographer," more friend who happens to be really good with a camera. We're not going show up and make your wedding day feel like a photoshoot.
Our style is candid and cinematic with a serious party flair. We love couples who want to throw a great party, hang out with the people they love, and not spend their whole day doing portraits. Which is actually why we do things a little differently.
Instead of pulling you away for one long portrait session, we do three or four quick five-to-ten minute shoots throughout the day. Different light, different locations, different mood. It's over before you know it, and you get back to your party faster. That's how we'd want our own wedding to go.
The best feedback we get isn't always just about the photos. It's couples telling us how relaxed and fun the whole day felt. And honestly, that's exactly why the photos turn out the way they do.

Absolutely, Nick & Jen shoot every wedding together.

Absolutely. We love shooting outside the city — whether that's a venue in the Gatineau Hills, a destination wedding, or anything in between. Travel fees may apply depending on distance, but we're always happy to chat about it

Almost every couple has this worry before their big day, and we totally get it! That's what we're here for. With a decade of experience under our belt, our goal is to help you feel completely like yourselves. We'll provide all the personalized guidance you need, along with the space to just be in the moment when it matters most.

Yes, and we encourage it. Seeing a full gallery gives you a much better sense of how we shoot an entire day, not just the hero shots. Just ask us when you reach out and we'll send one over. We also have extended galleries right here

Yes. We deliver all the culled images in a sharing/print gallery online. You'll be able to download the entire collection in high resolution via this gallery.
Our typical 8 hour wedding album includes 600+ photos.
All photos are delivered within 60 days of your wedding day, but we always send some teasers within a week!

Most couples book us 10–18 months out, especially for peak summer and fall dates. We do occasionally have last-minute availability. If your date is coming up, it's always worth reaching out as we only take a limited number of weddings per year.

Because we're a husband and wife team, we always have two photographers on your day. In the unlikely event of an emergency, we have a trusted network of Ottawa photographers we can call on. We'd never leave you without coverage, we take that responsibility seriously.
